6 Ways to Improve Your Life With the Use of Awesome Self-Help Books

Life is hard, and much like everyone else, you are not very good at it. Flipside lifestyle expert Drainpipe McGoo offers some handy tips about how self-help books can immeasurably improve your experience!

  1. Diet

It’s hard to stay healthy, but fortunately there are hundreds of books out there with detailed diet plans and helpful advice for a healthier lifestyle. These books are great to read, or to ignore while you’re binging on pizza and chocolate, feeling sad

  1. Mind

We all have so much to deal with in this day and age, from jobs to children, and social media to which yoghurt brand is creamiest. But there are loads of great books out there to help you maximise the potential of your wonderful mind, full of clever strategies for de-cluttering your life and improving your daily routine. Strategies that you could never hope to possibly begin employing in your own wretched existence, because you’re so all over the place you can barely get your socks on in the morning without having a minor nervous breakdown

  1. Relationships

It can be hard to improve and maintain all your relationships, whether it’s a colleague or a loved one. If you can take a minute off from alienating everyone you know with your weird, socially unacceptable behaviour, you might have time to grab a book that can tell you how to be a better human

  1. Sex

Like most people, other than your immediate friends who are all getting laid 24/7, you are probably struggling to maintain a healthy sex life. Thousands of people have written self-help books about how to kink up and glamourise your pathetic sex life, for the desperate, insecure loser in all of us. If it doesn’t work, most of them have some pretty raunchy descriptions that are fantastic to masturbate to after a long day’s loneliness

  1. Career

Most people had to give up on their dream career years ago, and you will almost certainly be the same. However, you can still be better at what you do and work your way up the corporate ladder. It’s not like all your bosses know every trick in every self-help book, and will subconsciously try and hold you back for employing Jedi mind-tricks against them. That is if you even have the time and energy to read at the end of another soul-crushing day at the office

  1. Attitude

Every self-help book around will tell you that without a positive attitude, and a healthy dose of self-belief, you won’t get nowhere sista. Before you embark on a journey of self-improvement, you have to believe you can change. This is hard when you are such a useless, decrepit piece of human garbage, but we’re all in the same boat here, so chin-up! If you can wade through the teeming tide of shit that is human life on earth with a smile on your face and a song in your heart, then you’re doing better than the rest of us.

Congratulations, friend! You’re better now.
