EUSA Encourages Students to Save Mental Health Issues For Designated Week
Following the launch of their Mental Health and Wellbeing Awareness Week programme, Edinburgh University Students’ Association has implored students to kindly withhold their mental health queries, concerns and breakdowns until the assigned week beginning January 30th.
The Mental Health Week will consist of a series of events aimed at helping students to learn more about mental health and how to cope with potential difficulties, as well as better organising their disruptive habits to fit to more a convenient schedule.
A spokesperson for the event noted the importance of exploring all possible options when it comes to mental health and wellbeing: “Before you go verging off into the deepest depths of existential despair – have you tried our Yoga Taster session?”
Crucial to the programme’s predicted success is the highly anticipated free tote bag (available at all participating venues), which is believed will put an end to mental health stigma throughout Edinburgh and beyond.
