Feeling Lonely on Valentines Day? Just Remind Yourself We All Die Alone!
Feeling sad? Rejected? Unattractive and lacking in charisma? It doesn’t matter because even the people with the magnetic personalities of the likes of Patrick Stewart and the looks of Rhianna will also die alone.
On this day, which a few hundred years ago or something, a guy died for Tesco to make a killing on some actually very reasonably prices roses (3 pounds a bunch guys) many people may wake up feeling lonely. But once you realize that the common bond we all share in humanity, death, works to also tie us all together on this day. Thinking about your shared mortality is the best way to feel a part of something bigger, and to remind yourself that in fact everyone will die alone, not just you.
