Ken Livingstone Wins Bet
Today, on what is usually Ed Balls day, Flipside can exclusively announce that Ken Livingstone definitely won some kind of bet.
He went on the Daily Politics show, just to have a wee chat about things, weighed in on the Naz Shah business, and was shortly after hiding in the disabled toilets from the assembled national press, who were asking him questions about Hitler. While we are not sure about the exact nature of the bet Livingstone was attempting to win, we can categorically say that, after being accused of being a Nazi apologist by a Labour MP, trending on Twitter, dominating the headlines and being suspended from his party, he definitely, categorically won the bet.
Theories around the bet’s precise details include ‘distract everyone from whatever gross shit the Tories are doing today,’ ‘keep Labour fresh,’ ‘top what Iain Duncan Smith managed’ or ‘do something stupid in a bathroom,’ however none of these can be confirmed.
Whatever the bet, Ken Livingstone won, and whoever he made the bet against must now feel pretty damn silly.
