Piers Morgan tweets terrible opinion about something

Social media website Twitter went into meltdown last night after “TV personality” Piers Morgan posted his terrible opinion about something.

Continuing his recent trend of having the opposite view to almost everyone in Britain, Piers wrote: “Say what you want but gender equality is the spawn of the devil and needs to stop now.”

The ex-Mirror editor then added fuel to the fire by tweeting a series of self-congratulatory follow-up posts about how he was the only social media user left who really “says it how it is.”

One of Morgan’s six fans voiced their support online, calling the post “thought-provoking” and thanking the journalist for “opening up debate.”

Others claimed he was actually “just wrong.”

This afternoon, almost 24 hours after the tweet was posted, Piers was still doggedly replying to his own thread, reminding everyone how brave and provocative his tweet had been.

In a series of narcissistic follow-ups, he thanked himself for being a “discussion creator”, a “brave voice for mankind” and alarmingly “the savior of the human race.”

Sources close to Morgan confirmed that he was planning a number of further posts slamming David Attenborough, praising the new Sherlock series, and lauding the decision to move the Great British Bake Off away from the BBC.

A spokesperson for the Internet said: “We’re looking into how we can reduce the amount he writes as its genuinely got to the point where he’s wasting precious megabytes.”
