Students ecstatic with new Teviot chips
Edinburgh University students have responded favourably to a Flipside survey on the recent change in Teviot chips, with 150% of Students saying they approved of the change.
The survey, which respondents were falsely told was totally anonymous, produced some insightful responses.
James Totts, a 2nd year ‘YOLO’ student, according to his childishly filled-in form, said “I really like the way they look frozen. Not as in, they were frozen, but how they still look frozen.”
Samantha Marris, a 3rd year Psychology student, echoed these sentiments, “The total absence of colour is exactly what I was looking for in a fried potato snack.”
Harrison Jones, a 4th year Archaeology student responded with, “I really like the texture. The total absence of any crunch, and general similarity to a Marshmallow is exquisite. The old, boring chips they had last year, that were golden brown in colour and looked like chips were just too mainstream.”
Zoe Allen, a 1st year History student, really liked the taste, “It’s like, salt. Mixed with more salt. I don’t like potatoes so they really work for me.”
There were however many spoiled responses to the survey; one form was covered in vomit from a student who was ultimately hospitalised by the chips, that were obviously far too tasty.
