Warner Brothers make £1.1 million from Anti-Capitalist Mask Sales.
Following the Million-Mask March, (an annual anti-capitalist rally on the fifth of November, which sees people wear the infamous V masks), Warner Merchandise, owner of the company that makes the ‘V’ masks, reported an earning of £1.1 million from mask sales.
‘We really can’t thank anonymous enough,’ the Head of Merchandise for WB told Flipside. ‘We always say, ‘‘remember remember the fifth of November, I’m going to go buy a yacht!’’ It’s a hoot. We were gonna actually report a loss this year, but those protests against economic exploitation and inequality really gave us the boost to report a massive gain.’
‘I’m gonna buy a lobbyist!’ exclaimed a passing Warner Bros’ Salesman, as he paddled down the jacuzzi moat in WB headquarters.
‘All I can say is I hope our product, the guys fox mask or whatever, keeps those hacktivist nerds happy. Hey, wanna go do blow off a hooker? Thanks to anonymous, money is fiction! Always remember V is for Vientta, a fuck load of Vienetta, which we buy with our massive profits.’
