New Sabbs to form rap supergroup H.W.A.
In a questionable attempt to engage with new students, the EUSA sabb team has announced that it has formed a new rap supergroup called H.W.A., in order to improve their ‘street cred’ and try to relate to ‘normal’ students.
Speaking to Flipside, EUSA VPSA Jess Husbands said “Most of our critics have accused us of being dull without any personality, so we’ve decided to disprove them by rapping about the struggles we’ve faced as Sabbs over the past few months. We hope to be injecting some cool into EUSA with songs like ‘Marchmont’s In The House’ and ‘Parental Subsidy Iz Advised’. We’re going to keep ‘Fuck tha police’ though, because it shuts up the Trots.”
When asked whether this was a slight overreaction, group lyricist and EUSA President Alec ‘Edgie’ Johnson shouted “Straight out of New Town. Crazy motherf**ker called Edgecliffe, from the group called ‘Honkies with Attitude’. That’s all I’ve written so far. We’re not very good at this, are we?”
While EUSA staff were hesitatingly nodding their head in support of the new Sabbs, they revealed that because the Sabbs had failed to submit the relevant documents in time, H.W.A. was banned from all Fresher Week events.
