Zayn Malik to join EUSA sabbatical team for academic year 2015/2016
Flipside can exclusively reveal that former One Direction singer Zayn Malik will be joining EUSA for the next academic year.
Millions of young One Direction fans were left heartbroken on Tuesday when it was announced that Malik had left the band due to stress less than a week after signing-off their current world tour.
Malik said he wanted “to live like a normal 22 year-old”, continuing on to say that “EUSA is just perfect for me.”
“After the stress of receiving so much attention in One Direction, it’s nice to be somewhere where I won’t be receiving any attention whatsoever.”
Meanwhile a EUSA spokesperson expressed delight at the news.
“We’re delighted to have Zayn on board. He’s a great addition to the team and is currently very busy using his new-found spare time to think up loads of great policies which we will never go through with.”
Malik’s proposal for a monorail to be built between George Square and Kings Buildings has already received 760,000 retweets on Twitter.
The EUSA presidential election turnout was 14%.
