Zika Virus Planning ‘Mental Euro Interrail’ This Summer
Recent reports from the World Health Organization suggest that the Zika virus, which has had an awesome time finding itself in South America, could be planning a massive interrail around Europe with twelve of its mates this summer.
“We’ve seen this a lot with dangerous, contagious viruses; they often start out in the third world, building schools and whatnot, really finding out who they are, but once they’re done there and they’ve ruined everything, they usually like to come to Europe. Typically they’ll spend a few weeks taking trains around France and Germany, via Amsterdam, then getting fucked up in Belgrade and Krakow for a few days at the end when they’ve run out of money. We saw it with Ebola and I expect we’ll see it again with Zika. If SARS is anything to go by, they’ll probably end up getting Chlamydia in Magaluf.”
We tried to reach the Zika virus for comment, but it was too busy booking a hostel in Cologne for mid-July.
